Had a pleasant stay in a spacious King room, very clean! Plus, its location made getting to Busch Gardens a cinch.

However, the hallway carpets were so stained they could qualify as abstract art. And that ice machine? Pure horror film material!

The lobby was so grand, I felt like a VIP at a royal gathering—if only I had a crown! The beds were plush and inviting, making it feel cozier than snuggling up in a giant marshmallow. The friendly staff had more enthusiasm than a puppy chasing its tail, always ready to help.

I loved the amazing indoor pool – such a nice escape after a long day! The proximity to Busch Gardens was a huge plus too. Only downside was the check-in wait. it took way too long. 😅

The bathroom showed signs of wear, with a shower drain that was slow. Some doors to the rooms were old and scratched, which made them feel less appealing. A few light fixtures were also dim, adding to the outdated vibe. Staff were friendly but busy, so some requests took longer than expected.

The Fort Magruder is all about that convenient location, just a hop away from Busch Gardens! Plus, the staff are gems—Amanda and her crew will make you feel like family. Can't forget to mention the delightful breakfast vibe, which was nice on the eyes, even if the food was hit or miss!

I was shuttled around to rooms that felt musty and neglected, while the maintenance crew played hide and seek. For a place with barely a handful of cars to spare, it shouldn't feel like I hit the jackpot for the worst room!

my family and i enjoyed our stay at fort magruder. the staff quickly replaced our broken tv and the continental breakfast had several delicious options. the beds were surprisingly comfortable, ensuring we all slept well.
